Students and Families are restricted from seeing their schedules until online registration is completed. However, Skyward does not see new student registration in the same way as returning student registration. So although a new student application has been processed, Skyward will not display their schedule.
Parents can log in to their family access account and complete registration on their own. The login will be different than what they used to do the initial application. Parents should use the Forgot Login ID/Password link on the Skyward login page and enter the same email address they used when they registered. They will be emailed their username and a link to set their password. Once a family logs in, they will see the online registration link. They can click through this and mark each step as complete. All the forms will already be done, but they must go through each step and submit the registration before the schedule will appear.
The other option is for an administrator or administrative assistant to mark their registration as complete. The steps for this are below.
1. On the main Skyward page, click Families
2. Then click Verification Status
3. A page will be displayed showing all students in your building. Search for the last name of the new student and click to select them. You will see that it says "No" under the Verified column in Red.
4. Click the button on the right labeled "Mark as Verified"
4. The Verified Coulmn will update and now the parent and student can log in to Skyward to see their student's schedule.
These steps should only be done for new students to the district. All returning families must log in to their Skyward family access account to complete registration to see their schedule. If you have any questions or problems with these steps please email edtech@molineschools.org
