Administrators and security personnel now have the ability to view their assigned camera footage from their mobile client using the xProtect mobile app from any location with a viable network connection (wireless or mobile data).
The use of the xProtect mobile app on personal devices is optional. The District is not liable for any data charges or device changes due to using the xProtect mobile app for work purposes.
Install the Mobile App:
Adding the VMS Server:
- From the welcome screen after first launching the app, tap the “Add Server” button.
- Tap “Add Server “Manually” at the bottom of your device.
- Server Details:
- Server Name: MCV-MVMS
- Manual Address: mcv-mvms.molineschools.org
- **Be sure to remove any spaces***
- Tab “Add Address”
- Tap “Continue Login”
- Tap “Windows User” (may be the default)
- Enter your computer user name without “@molineschools.org”.
- Enter computer password
- Tap “Remember Me” if desired
Enable Security
- Enable Biometrics (preferred)
- In the upper left corner, tap the person icon next to “Views”
- Tap App Settings
- Tap “Enable use of biometrics or our device credentials for this app”.
- Follow the on-screen instructions for your device
